MMRS™ software has given users from Mine Managers, Engineers, Geologists, Maintenance Staff and Machine Operators a very comprehensive and reliable source of data with which to manage operations throughout the world. Through the application of business rules and strict data validation and cleansing, MMRS™ has enhanced the use of many Data Acquisition Systems already deployed on site. As MMRS™ acquires and collates mining data from disparate sources, we provide a number of generic interfaces to industry standard, real-time and manual data acquisition systems.

The MMRS™ system architecture separates data acquisition, data storage and reporting components, which allows for the easy integration of the latest or enhanced data acquisition systems and manual recording systems. This provides increased system scalability and overall cost benefits to an operation by minimizing re-development times and supporting the integration of additional third-party systems.

Third party systems commonly integrated with MMRS™ such as fleet management systems, equipment maintenance and monitoring systems capture a vast quantity and detail of raw data. WMRS™ is a modular web based solution, with each module covering a different functional workforce management area from the list above. WMRS™ is not designed to replace or duplicate any of the core benefits of a pre-existing Human Resources ERP system, rather it is often deployed to integrate with and enhance any existing human resources applications with a focus on the areas which are most valuable to our mining clients.

As WMRS™ has been designed as a scalable application, all modules can be deployed either standalone or as part of a larger system catering to both large and medium sized workforces. Designed for use on often pre-existing IT infrastructure WMRS™ can be run on a standard Internet Explorer web browser and data may be secured using existing network security measures. This means WMRS™ may be accessible to a very large number of users reliably and safely at the same time reading and writing data to the same SQL Server database.

The MISWeb Suite is a highly scalable, enterprise wide data and application portal and data analytics suite of web applications that brings sophistication with simplicity in a synergistic web-based interface for navigating MIS applications or consuming Microsoft Analysis Services OLAP cubes.

Using an end to end design paradigm, the MISWeb suite delivers a desktop experience, designed to provide analytic solutions for all user types: from novice to advanced data user.

The suite currently includes an OLAP cube viewer (Scout) and a dashboard tool (Focus) that both provide clear, crisp graphics and data visualizations together with strong analytic capabilities.

Scout is an enterprise class ad-hoc analytics tool that offers rich data visualizations and advanced analytic functions.

Scout fully leverages the power of Microsoft SQL Analysis Services (SSAS) in a truly intuitive web-based thin client application.

Designed to handle very large cubes with many dimensions, members and measures, Scout is an OLAP cube browser that is scalable from a few users to many users.

A world class, enterprise tool for data analysis of OLAP cubes for Microsoft Analysis Services

Scout was built from the ground up to allow users to rapidly query multi-dimensional, data sources housed in OLAP cubes. Users can view trends, rapidly indentify and focus on any data anomalies (“slice”), and then drill across or through the data dimensions and filters (“dice”) to present a view for publication.

Scout has been built using the latest application design concepts and contains functionality that satisfies all requirements of a cube viewer application.

Scout utilizes the power of SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS 2005/2008) in our own MISWeb platform delivering a function rich, ad-hoc tool designed for use by experienced data analysts. Given its standard design it also provides an easy to use and intuitive tool for the less practiced and informal data user.

Scout provides a platform for constructing personal focus charts along with enterprise focus points within the same paradigm and delivering business analysis results to wider enterprise audiences is very simple.

Scout’s user interface is highly user friendly, intuitive and consistent with industry standards for the use of drag and drop features and recognizable navigation functions. Casual users are able to navigate through the many functions with ease whilst more expert analysts will connect with many higher end features and functions including the ability to build and export MDX queries. Users can then easily share the results of their investigations, and allow other users to use their investigation as starting point for further analysis.

As an integrated component of the MISWeb Suite, Scout provides graphical options including charts, gauges, decomposition charts and organisation charts and is fully integrated with the Focus dashboard tool for the distribution of results in a very short timeframe.

Focus - a user friendly approach to WEB dashboards

Focus is an enterprise class dash-boarding tool for creating and consuming slick dashboards.

Built as a seamless extension to Scout, Focus includes technologies for integrating multi-queries with on-screen, point-and-click functionality.

The Focus system utilises a complex caching structure to allow ‘live’ dashboards to be delivered to large numbers of users with a minimal performance cost. Live data can be fed from any data source directly into a Focus dashboard component, including output from Scout, Microsoft SQLServer Reporting Services (SSRS) reports and Microsoft XL.

With the ability to add pixel perfect imaging and customizable themes, Focus can be used by both novice users creating “my” dashboards as well as skilled analysts and developers creating enterprise wide content.

Focus is a great way to present ‘live’ dashboards on large LCD screens in the workplace.

Focus is a web-based dashboard application for the one stop analysis, offering users an incredibly powerful method to assemble multiple OLAP cube queries into an integrated, rich and highly interactive dashboard.

Focus provides functionality for all types of users to build and publish focus points highlighted originally in the Scout analytic application. Designed to be used by the full spectrum of users, from skilled developers and analysts to more informal data users, Focus can be used with Scout analytic application or Microsoft SQL Reporting Services outputs to provide a platform for both static reporting and live analytical results in the personal or enterprise space.

Like Scout, Focus offers an intuitive drag and drop experience. It offers a high level of functionality including sizing, format and layout tools and an easy to use approach to dashboard design and deployment utilising the MISWeb control platform security and administration features for selective audiences.

As an integrated component of the MISWeb suite, Focus provides for fully interactive charts, gauges, KPI tables geospatial maps, and provides click-through functionality to tools including Scout for further analytical reviews.
